About the Project Creator

Ciao! I’m Lisa Venticinque, an Italian-American photographer and multimedia documentary artist. I was born and raised in St. Paul, Minnesota… però il mio cuore sta sempre in Italia. I am currently researching the Venticinque origin, history, and global lineage. I have been slowly building this project for years, and in the autumn of 2018 I began working on the #VENTICINQUE/We Are 25 project in both Italy and the United States, gathering stories and creating multimedia portraits of members of the Venticinque family. Over the next couple of years, I will continue to travel to Venticinque “hot spots”, completing research, doing interviews, and creating portraits and short documentary films about Venticinques from a wide variety of backgrounds.

This documentary project will be released as an interactive website and perhaps, one day, a book.
